Cheltenham BID Case Study
Statement pieces with impact was at the heart of Cheltenham BID’s latest scheme.
After winning the tender for the second time, we worked closely with the BIDs operation manager to deliver a scheme that showed off the town centre using big, bold motifs, with the centre piece of the scheme being a large 3D reindeer motif on the roundabout entrance to Montpelier.
After proposing uplighters in the trees around the main pedestrian area in an effort to keep installation costs down, the BID felt like more impact was needed. We worked closely with the BID to compromise on a solution that created a bigger impact whilst offsetting costs.
The scheme has proven to be a very popular addition to Cheltenham’s Christmas offering, with the Municipal Building receiving such praise that the BID has decided to retain the buildings lighting design for the next 3 years.
